Background

In 2018, Fort Worth Police Officer Corporal Garrett Hull lost his life in the line of duty. The following year, his service and sacrifice were honored in Washington, D.C. during National Police Week when his name was added to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial.

How We Helped

Hillwood Airways partnered with the Fort Worth Police Department, the Fort Worth Police Officers Association and the Fort Worth Chapter of Brotherhood of the Fallen for this mission to honor Corporal Hull by coordinating and providing travel for his family, friends, and fellow officers to and from the event. This coordinated effort made it possible for the FWPD to bring the largest possible group of representation to attend a ceremony of this kind.

Special Arrangements

The Boeing 737-700C BBJ was arranged in a custom VIP configuration to comfortably accommodate all passengers and was outfitted with the logos of the Brotherhood of the Fallen and Fort Worth Police Department. In addition, 84 first responder vehicles representing more than 40 agencies from surrounding areas lined the airport apron to salute the departing aircraft as it taxied before takeoff.

Hillwood Airways Flight 3105 has been permanently retired in honor of Corporal Hull whose badge number was 3105.
